Sustainable business
We are a small family business with a shared love for nature and a deep concern for climate change and its consequences. That’s why we are committed to operating as sustainably as possible and continuously work to minimize our ecological footprint. Our ultimate goal is to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030.
To achieve this mission, we donate 1% of our yearly sales volume to organizations such as WWF and Trees for All. These organizations support sustainable forest management, reforestation projects and tree-planting initiatives, benefiting nature, wildlife and local communities alike.
Fair trade
We partner with local, family-owned businesses of master artisans in developing regions of Vietnam. By maintaining direct communication with these skilled woodworkers, we ensure fair market prices for their handcrafted products.
Positive effect
Our woodworkers use age-old woodworking techniques to infuse local tradition and culture into every piece of our collection, giving each product a unique touch and a meaningful story. Through our artisan-made creations, we strive to support the economic and social livelihoods of our network of talented artisans.
Reuse
Did you know that Khaya products can enjoy a second life even after extensive use? Repurpose wooden cups as holders for pens or toothbrushes, bowls for bath salts or small soaps, and serving plates for displaying jewelry. Reusing our products not only extends their lifespan but also contributes to a more sustainable future.
